| Since 1963 the Festival has benefitted from the donations, practical help and interest of Friends of the Festival. While a registered charity and run by elected committee members who give of their time freely, there are inevitably costs in putting on the Festival each year, hire of premises and grand piano etc. The support of the Friends is therefore crucial to maintaining this fine, long-standing local musical tradition which gives performers of all ages fantastic opportunity to perform. | |
